Schneller drops out of 7th race
Jim Schneller, a conservative independent from Radnor, announced early Thursday morning that he would not pursue a run in the 7th Congressional District race this fall.
Schneller was the third-party candidate in the race two years ago. Democrats admitted they helped Schneller get on the ballot in an effort to siphon votes away from Republican Pat Meehan.
SO that leaves two candidates in the race this time around: incumbent Meehan, R-7, of Upper Darby, and Democrat George Badey of Radnor.
